St. Paul's Church
St. Paul's Church was the site of the first German National Assembly in 1848 and is the cradle of German democracy. It was rebuilt after the war and is located north of the Roemer.
Since 1948 St. Paul’s Church is no longer a church and is mainly used for exhibitions and state or city events. The Peace Prize of the German Book Trade for example is awarded here during the yearly Frankfurt Book Fair.
